Madrid played better and should've/could've been ahead early, but being ahead twice only to go level twice and then behind was pretty bad. Avoidable defeat certainly, after going ahead the second time I'd have expected them to hold on for much longer but alas, it wasn't to be. I contemplated putting money on City to win the other day but then I found out it was at Madrid (Some listing had it as City vs Madrid so I assumed incorrectly), so decided against it >_>.

Fair point, but not many teams have gone to the Bernabeu and won. Real Madrid always find something.

I agree, you've done yourself no harm with that performance. Hopefully City can build on it and get out of the group this time round.
