John Terry's European ban for the red card received against Barcelona has been reduced on appeal from three games to two. Having already missed the Champions League final, he will also sit out the Super Cup against Atletico Madrid on 30th August, but will be available for Chelsea's first group game of the new Champions League campaign.

Although on a different report I'm now reading that the third game is actually suspended for a probationary period of three years.

Alexander Ring scores for Gladbach, preferred over Patrick Hermann tonight and has repaid Favre's faith. Great bring down and finish at t' near post. Monchengladbach look quite in control here, only one real chance for Kiev where Ideye Brown got in behind t' defence but was offered no support until it was too late.

Kris Commons is on fire this season! Which is great to see, would almost consider a Celtic win a fair upset

Got t' Gladbach game on, my favorite German team by a distance, leading so far and hopefully they'll get through. Would love to see them in our group, think that'd be a cracking tie.
