Adam
The authorities need to stand up and be counted now. You've already let one so-called "fit and proper person" run Leeds United right into the ground, now are you going to let another come in to the game and do it all over again? I genuinely feel sorry for Leeds fans, and that is a rarity for me. This Cellino bloke is clearly a clown.

Gazz
That dude buying Leeds has been chairman at Cagliari for 20 years. They've had 36 managers in that time. Might as well start as you mean to go on...

Dan
Why are they letting Cellino takeover? The guy is wild. Once hired 3 managers in 3 days I believe.

Admin Lineker Posted February 3, 2014 Author Admin Report Share Posted February 3, 2014 McDermott has arrived to take training and will do a presser at 12:45. But who is Massimo Cellino, the owner of Italian club Cagliari, who could be set to take over at Leeds United. Simon Austin's feature tries to find out. It writes: "The 57-year-old is one of the most colourful, controversial and charismatic owners in Italian football. "His superstitions include a fear of the number 17, which has posed the Sardinian a few problems. Cagliari's stadium doesn't have any seats numbered 17 for a start. Instead, they are labelled 16b. "In 21 years at the club, he has sacked 35 managers."
