Specialist in Champions League semi final failure.

Yeah, I mean, he's only won it twice.
This is Mourinho logic though. Wenger is a specialist in failure according to him despite having won multiple trophies.

Objectively, Wenger has failed for the last 9 years or so.

Yeah, but he still makes it the semi's. Whether he wins or loses there, his record in the CL is outright staggering. I'd much rather lose in the semis then not make them at all. I can't imagine anyone would think otherwise. This Chelsea team, at the moment, did really well to even make the semi finals. He shouldn't be criticised for that.

Depends. I think consistently getting to the semis of the Champions League is extremely impressive, when compared with any other team's record. I wouldn't call Wenger getting 4th failing, but I live in a world where getting 4th every year is the dream. :P

How is that a criticism?

Atletico Madrid coach Mr. T Diego Simeone praised his players' mothers for nurturing a winning mentality after reaching the Champions League final.
"I want to thank the mothers of these players because they gave birth to them with balls this big," said Simeone, gesturing as if holding a football. "The reaction of the team will stick in people's memories."

Manchester City are facing Uefa sanctions for breaching financial fair play rules which would see the club limited to a 21-man Champions League squad instead of the usual 25 players next season, Press Association Sport is reporting. City, who are still strongly challenging the settlement offer from Uefa, are also facing a fine in the region of £49m over three years, and a cap imposed for next season to ensure there is no rise on this season's Champions League squad wage bill. The reduction in the size of the Champions League squad to 21 would potentially hit the club hardest, and City would also have to ensure that there are still eight locally-trained players in that A squad. City have until the end of the week to reach an agreement with Uefa over the sanctions.

The only thing that could affect Citys squad in Europe would be the home grown players rule. It'd leave 13 foreign players for the squad that could be registered.
