Have they fixed it so that if you choose the big massive megadick NPCs will actually remark on it and it will affect your gameplay experience?

Unfortunately, that is a lived-in experience you and I have and is not common enough for people to know it happens to us so often.

It's honestly not bad. If you can get a physical copy for a real cheap price, it's well worth it. I'm locked to the digital storefronts, so I paid $25, and I've put almost 50 hours into it.

BUT - that said, those 50 hours was doing a lot of side quests and random shit to extend the game. Because you can absolutely blast through the story in like, 10 hours. If not less. The side stuff is absolutely important if you want to get the most out of the game, but that's also kind of cheap too.

Originally I wasn't going to do the final mission until I cleared the map, but then I learned once you beat the game, the map suddenly shows EVERYTHING, so I did that. But there's like six endings, depending on what you've done in the game once you reach that mission, so. I've done two so far:

Spoiler

V choosing to take her own life. It's either die in six months or less, or let Johnny take the wheel for good. Seems like the best option. The friends you make along the way did not agree with this decision, as seen in the credits. Panam was absolutely furious, telling me to rot in hell.

The second was storming Arasaka with Rogue, she dies, and then Johnny walks into the net with Alt. V is queen shit at Afterlife, but the game "ends" with V taking a heist job in space from Mr. Blue Eyes (who was the one presumably behind controlling the new Mayor and his wife). I'm confused about this one, since I read online Arasaka takes you to space and removes the relic or some shit. But I was robbing a space casino? What?

This game REALLY needs more content, not just lame DLC like jackets and shit. Completing NCPD radar stuff and the gigs in each territory will only last for so long, and then I'm completely done (besides wanting to see all the possible endings with the choices I've made).

I'm still waiting for bigger DLC before returning to it but I loved my playthrough on slim PS4 back when it was released and never had any major bugs or crashes. My chosen ending was to take on the final mission with Panam. No spoilers about how that goes.

I heard there was a big free DLC/Update thingie. Is it time to finally play this yet?

I've read that it works as well now as it's likely to. There's an expansion coming next year, which has led to an increase in sales figures. I haven't really heard anything especially great about it, though. "Pretty good" seems to be the general consensus.

Hmm. I've waited this long maybe I'll keep waiting for the best version. It's taking up a lot of space on my xbox though. I'd uninstall it but I don't want to have reinstall the 9 billion GB file when I do get around to playing it

Exact same boat, I haven't touched it since the initial release, I got to the city and then gave up it was so bad. I may jump back in if it's improved now.

Reminds me of No Mans Sky, I got that on launch and was really disappointed, but I'm now told it may be worth going back to.

No Man's Sky is ludicrously good now. Far surpasses even the ridiculous promises they were making pre-launch.

There's almost too much to do now.

It's not the game that was promised, and it's not the game it *should* be, but you can do far worse.

I've been really enjoying this game. It's not the game it was marketed as, unsurprisingly because its literally not the game they marketed at the start, and the crafting and upgrading doesn't make any sense. There's definitely still more potential there then they realised, and promises made that they never reached, and the game would have been better if it was delayed but I'm not sure it would have ever come out if they'd have taken the time to deliver everything they promised.

It's clear that there's potential in this world. And I half hope that there's a sequel if they're sensible about the marketing and treat their staff better. Although I do feel like anyone who preorders it would be a complete muppet.

The lasting problem with the game is the same as GTA 5. The game can never achieve what it sets out to and sooner or later it'll end up feeling like a hollow, lifeless themepark.

I'll also say that I personally enjoy Cyberpunk a lot more than Witcher 3. Which is odd because the setting and story of Witcher 3 appeals to me more and the game is clearly better made. Witcher 3 stresses me out. Cyberpunk rarely does.

Open world games really, really, really need to get better at loot and inventory management though. I feel like I was doing the latter a lot. I don't get why. I don't need to sleep, eat or drink, why the fuck do I need to worry about how much I'm carrying. What's the point? What's it adding?

Anyone pick up Phantom Liberty?  Or start playing since their big 2.0 updates?  Looks like its finally in the place everyone initially hoped it would be.  PL was on sale on Xbox, so I grabbed that and I'm just going to start fresh with a new character.

I'd like to try it since I actually liked the game for what it was. I'd love a new game plus, I haven't touched it since it came out basically so have no clue about the mechanics anymore, but I don't want to start entirely from scratch just to see the dlc.

You should be able to have the DLC in your current game as well.  I'm just opting to start over again because I also have no idea where I left off, and when that's the case and there's new content, I opt for fresh starts.  But even without the DLC, the consensus is the major updates they made to the base game make it worth revisiting.

I've been playing since the 2.0 update and man, what a world of difference. They fixed a ton of things that I was sure they would never get around to - fundamental game systems that were MASSIVELY flawed like you having to switch what you were wearing, and using new guns every 5 seconds were fixed entirely. The skill tree is so much better, and just everything about the world feels a helluva lot better now. I would recommend jumping in when you get the chance - it's full realized now, and even just yesterday they dropped the 2.1 patch that added some neat QOL features.

But yeah, I would 100% suggest starting over if you're in the right place to, but in your case Kaney, they offer 1 free FULL respec so you can fix your tree up however you like.
