So, I got out after a show last night only to witness a fucking car crash. Had to stick around, so I wasn't home until 2:00 AM. Everyone's alright, so sorry I missed last night.

I'm fine with any other night though, basically. That was just fucked up. >_>

So, my 360 got the red ring of doom, and after trying the towel trick twice to no avail, I decided to give in and get it repaired.

About how long does it take for the box they send you to come?

When mine RROD'd it took about a week and a half, then came back within three weeks. From what I've heard though, Microsoft has been much faster and I've heard of some people getting the box and getting their 360 fixed and back to them within a week and a half. It might depend on where you live, though.

Funny. That was the exact same question I came in here to ask.

A friend of mine lost his in May and hasn't even received the fucking box yet, so I was a little worried when I ordered my own repair yesterday.

Good to hear everybody doesn't have horror stories like that.

Did your friend ever think you maybe try and contact them again to see if the box got sent to the wrong address or something? I mean that's a ridiculous amount of time.

You can just use your own box as well. Couldn't complain about the service from my own experience. I got mine back 10 days after I sent it in.

He's an asshole and he's loaded. After, I think, two complaints he bought an Elite system and quit trying.

I, on the other hand, just thanked a UPS worker for giving me my box. After two days. The service seems to have really gotten faster than the days when my friends all told me horror stories about the service.

I requested day shifts anyway. Plus, there was a mix-up. They said to come in for training FROM 7:00 until 11:00, when the store closes. I heard 'from 11:00', so after that I have training on Saturday now.

But, as far as being online, any time after 6:00 until like, fuckin' 2:00 or 3:00 AM probably.
