Sousa
The hinge is also the part that kids are most likely to break. We got one for my daughter and it seems solid enough. Definitely needs a case though.
Your Mom
Ok another question too. Is it like the consoles where everyone can have their separate account? Because it will probably be like a family machine if we get it
Sousa
No, everybody's got the same account, but you can set up parental controls with passwords.
Your Mom
Thats cool. I don't think you 3DS having guys are the type that would hassle my kids anyway
Sousa
The Nintendo eShop needs to start working again.
apsham
ARGH! I am stupidly close in points to the Luigi's Mansion figurine on Club Nintendo. I hate everything.
Your Mom
Club Nintendo?
apsham
Whenever you buy a console/first party or linked Nintendo product there are these little codes for Club Nintendo. You punch them up on the site and build up points to reach different levels and at the end of the "year" (which I think is in June) you are either Silver, Gold or Platinum and you get to choose a reward. Some of those are REALLY cool. But throughout the year you can also use your points to get stuff. Most of it is meh. BUT. They have a really cool Luigi figurine on right now as supplies last - but it's 1,500 points. And a new game purchase gets you usually something like 60. I've been saving and waiting for a while now. Your Mom
Oh thats cool. I wish the other companies did that
apsham
Some do - Square Enix does. They have these little red slips inside their cases I believe - and they do AT LEAST the "yearly points" part. But I've never paid that much attention to it as a whole. Your Mom
Yeah but I cant imaging buying more than 1 square game per year. If that
apsham
That's true. It really only works for Nintendo since.. well.. it's console wide.
Sousa
I think Mario 3D World may be the reason I had kids.
Skummy
Holy shit is Bravely Default beautiful. The demo was good, but I'm barely twenty minutes in to the full game and I love it so much more.Between this and Last Story, I almost don't mind that Final Fantasy is shit now. I just wish we'd get a Last Story sequel
Bobfoc
But then that would render the original game's status as the last story null and void. Then again, Final Fantasy did pave the way for the "JRPGs with titles undermined by their copious sequels" trend.
Sousa
Wonderful 101 would be really really great if I knew what the fuck I was doing more than half the time.
Pizza
I thought 3d world was good, but not on par with the Galaxy games. And then I played the first snow level with my niece. Best thing ever.

Your Mom
WiiU is $250 at walmart now. If it weren't for the telltale games I can't play on other system it would be really tempting to see if we could trade all our 360 stuff for that
Sousa
The Bravely Default demo is out on the 3DS on this side of the big pond! It takes forever to build things. Bravely Default is still a ridiculous name to give to a thing.
