I think the FA should just keep quiet and if Joey Barton plays a game before his 12 game ban in the Premier League is over they should just dock points to QPR and ban Joey Barton until the end of the season for both parties being utter cunts about the situation.

In fact, I don't understand why criminal charges haven't been brought against him because of the attack. It was clearly premeditated (hell, he confirmed that on twitter) and wildly swinging about could easily have caused a long term injury for a player who clearly wasn't expecting anything.

Probably Joey Barton for a month, he returns to QPR at the same time but he doesn't have to spend a month getting match fit.
