It's a complete joke that Terry only gets 4 games when Suazez got 8. Found guilty of the same thing but Terry gets half the ban. Where the hell is the logic. Obviously throwing a temper tantrum and quitting playing for England has worked.

Maybe the fact an actual court of law found him not guilty should be remembered.

Different methods of finding him guilty though. There's a big difference between "beyond reasonable doubt" and "balance of probabilities". Same way that a civil case can be brought against someone after a court finds them not guilty of criminal charges

I don't get why it's causing so much confusion. A criminal law court cleared him of a criminal charge. The FA, a body regulating the industry in which he is employed, found him guilty of breaching their code of conduct. Different charges brought by different bodies, different standards of proof, different reasons for charging him. He was cleared of a public order offence - he wasn't cleared of breaching FA Rule E3 [2].

In so far as he admitted using the words, they had to charge him. It would've been laughable if they didn't. He's breached his industry's code of conduct by using foul and abusive language. Whether he was repeating it or not, they need to make it clear that you can't say that shit as a representative of a brand seen by millions of people worldwide.

The only difference between John Terry and Luis Suarez is that a member of the public didn't report Luis Suarez

If Terry has been found guilty of the same thing that Suarez has (under the FA's own governing system body thingy) then whatever result that the courts found out do not matter. This is an INTERNAL investigation for breaching the FA's racism rules.

The only reason the FA didn't investigate it at the time was because it was being investigated through the courts and they couldn't say something that could cloud the judgement of the courts or cause his case to fall apart.

Either 8 games for Terry or four for Suarez. Anything else is just ridiculous.

Caught the last twenty minutes of the Liverpool thing, weirdly all the focus, interviews etc were on players either out of favour or out of the club. Spearing, Enrique, Adam, Carroll bantering with Daniel Craig, and next weeks preview has yet more Spearing.

Think I agree with that, need a better angle on the Torres shout, but Kosc can't just not be anywhere near him in case he gets hit.
