So Sunderland beat Saints in the cup again. Wigan seem likely to join them...

Cahill (apparently) shakes off the knock picked up in midweek to join Luiz in central defence, while Terry is still unavailable. The captain's absence is the only change from the side that beat City in the league recently, with Mikel coming into midfield.

City have the Barcelona game on Tuesday to think about so there's a bit of tinkering in their first eleven: Javi Garcia will have the job of being Less Terrible Than Demichelis in midfield, while Nasri is back on the bench.
