After watching half of the Agassi vs Malisse match with sound, i decided i will always turn it off from now on everytime there's a US open match with one American in it (except if there are 2 of them).

The crowd didn't shut up one fucking second when it was Malisse's serve, not even in crucial moments such as break and set points. However they were totally silent on Agassi's serves, cheered every Agassi point, even if it wasn't because of Agassi's merits, but because Malisse just entirely missed the shot.

Thought I'd post that here. He was never anything special but he wasn't terrible and he was great for Armenian tennis - I liked him quite a bit too.

The only other shocks really are Dementieva and Dent (though he's only seeded 27 or something) also losing. Another one or two seeds in the womens lost but I forget their names.

I'm ecstatic that Venus is gone, all I need now are early losses by Serena and Roddick and I'm going to be happy regardless of who wins. It would be even sweeter if they both lost in the first round

I really don't see a way that Federer won't win the Men's. As for Women's, it's a lot more open but I'd put money on Justine.

I hope to god Serena follows her sister and loses as soon as possible.

Pavel beat Moya in a tight match.

In Hewitts match it's 1 set all and 4-3 his way in the third.

EDIT: Hewitt is now down 2-1 and it's 4-4 in the fourth. An early exit maybe?

And now he's down 6-5 in the 4th.

Hewitt wins the 4th and its now down to the final set. My tip: Hewitt to win. Vik had the game in the bag there but lost it, his confidence will drop and Hewitt's will rise.
