Were Hull a PL club when he joined them? Because if not, 40k p/w is a ridiculous amount for a player the wrong side of 30, not to mention the extra 15k.

They were a PL club and he was their record signing. Spent most of his time with the physio or getting into a fight with Nick Barmby under a bridge while being watched by members of the WI.
