Congrats!

Curious, what was the criteria for tickets for Tottenham?

Liverpool had it so fans with 7 games this season (so basically had to have been an away game and all the home ones) are guaranteed a ticket and then if you've been 6 games you're in a ballot. Last season I ended up like 8000 on a waiting list.

Gotta wait until Friday to find out if I'm eligible for a ticket

Was just done on total accumulated loyalty points. Having had the season tickets for ages, that was nice and straight forward.

Manchester City have hit out in a strongly worded statement after a Uefa investigation into allegations of financial fair play irregularities, which could lead to a Champions League ban, was sent for a final judgment at the governing body.

The chairman and chief investigator of Uefa’s club financial control body investigatory chamber, Yves Leterme, has concluded City have a case to answer and has referred the matter to the adjudicatory chamber, which will rule on the matter.

Members of the investigatory chamber are thought to have recommended a Champions League ban if the allegations of misleading Uefa over FFP are proved.

City, who have vehemently denied wrongdoing, expressed anger in a statement which referred to a report in the New York Times on Monday that the IC is set to recommend City being banned from the Champions League. The club are expected to take their case to the court of arbitration for sport if Uefa finds them guilty.

“Manchester City football club is disappointed, but regrettably not surprised, by the sudden announcement of the referral to be made by the CFCB IC chief investigator Yves Leterme,” the club said.

“The leaks to media over the last week are indicative of the process that has been overseen by Mr Leterme.Manchester City is entirely confident of a positive outcome when the matter is considered by an independent judicial body.

“The accusation of financial irregularities remains entirely false and the CFCB IC referral ignores a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence provided by Manchester City FC to the Chamber.

“The decision contains mistakes, misinterpretations and confusions fundamentally borne out of a basic lack of due process and there remain significant unresolved matters raised by Manchester City FC as part of what the club has found to be a wholly unsatisfactory, curtailed, and hostile process.”

Leterme is a senior Belgian politician and former prime minister.

City have been facing allegations since November that they falsely declared as sponsorships millions of pounds that were in fact an investment from the club’s owner, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan, of Abu Dhabi’s ruling family. The allegations are based on “leaked” internal City emails and other documents published by the German magazine Der Spiegel.

Uefa’s statement on Thursday said: “The Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) chief investigator, after having consulted with the other members of the independent investigatory chamber of the CFCB, has today decided to refer Manchester City FC to the CFCB adjudicatory chamber following the conclusion of his investigation.

“The CFCB investigatory chamber had opened an investigation into Manchester City FC on 7 March 2019 for potential breaches of financial fair play (FFP) regulations that were made public in various media outlets.

“Uefa will not be making any further comment on the matter until a decision is announced by the CFCB adjudicatory chamber.”

Man City should really look into getting a new PR team...

First the whole "nah it's not about Sean Cox it's about other fans getting attacked and it's been sang all season so its fine, completely justified "

To now this. Such an arrogant set of arseholes

Another year, another disappointment of not getting a ticket in the ballot :(

Town it is for the final then.

Edit: so I'm 1900 odd on a waiting list of well over 20,000. There are already tickets being touted from people successful in the ballot for several thousand pounds. Absolute scumbags

To be fair, Concert Square will be rocking. It was booming after the semis.

I went Pogues for the final as I had a ticket for there and doing that again but we went concert square for a bit before hand. Could hear the singing from the bombed out church

Just hope the weather is decent like last year

There's a special programme on Channel 4 at 10pm tonight - Klopp vs. Poch: Battle of the Supermanagers. Compares their methods, etc.

Looks quite interesting.

Should have a best of 7 competition, in different sports like boxing, darts and dressage.

I see you've gone all out this year, @DavidMarrio.

I've had some spare time since the seasons ended.
