Anyone watch Mare of Eastown? It sounds like people think it was a good show and I've somehow managed to not have it spoiled so I'm thinking about giving it a try

I've watched two and a half episodes. It's very good up to the point I'm at but also pretty dark/dour, especially that first episode.

It was up when I mentioned Spoilers. I had just started it. So about 4 hours ago. I'm about an hour and 20 in and it's been good so far.

I think I am going to go see a movie today. If you had to choose between Fantastic Beasts, Passengers or Assassins Creed what would you pick? Or is there something else good out? Only thing I have seen in a couple months is Rogue One so the options are pretty wide open

I never got into Harry Potter, I haven't heard much of anything good about Passengers, and I DO love me some Michael Fassbener, sooooo Assassin's Creed.
If you're open to other suggestions, I've heard great things about Moana and La La Land. Also Fences, but that's probably a whole different tone than you're looking for.

Despite being a fan of both Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence, I didn't think Passengers was up to much. Heard bad things about Assassin's Creed and Fantastic Beasts was superb, a real fell-good film with lots to keep you entertained.

I went in with high expectations because I've seen nothing but good talk about it, and when I saw it last night it surpassed all my hopes for it. Was brilliant and I'd recommend it to anyone.
