It does take him past the business end of the season including the latter stages of any cups we're still in, so it's nowhere near as convenient as Toney's "yeah, just keep playing til the end of the season".

Still yet to be confirmed of course, but the ban feels in line with Toney's and other cases, it's still fucking absurd he'll come back to a sport surrounded by betting promotions.  At least Romano didn't stick one of his tacky sponsors on his tweet.

There'll be a Premier League game played on Christmas Eve for the first time since 1995, as Wolves vs. Chelsea has been moved to 1pm on that day (a Sunday).

If I were a travelling fan I'd be pretty pissed off tbh.
