Sunshine

shit/10.

I mean, really. Great starring cast, two great young actors, and one wonderful young actress. A usually dynamic director, and this is what popped out? Really?

I heard people worried if he could pull off a Sci Fi movie, well yes, he could just fine. But then when it turned to the 'horror' bit, it just failed - so hard. It no longer made any sense at all, and the 'thing they have to overcome' at the end, is built up so poorly.

What a huge fail. It was great, as a Sci Fi, right up until the 'fifth crew member' shows up.

Just got back from a double feature at the cinema.

Meet The Robinson's: 7/10

Blades of Glory: 7/10

Both were fairly good movies, that surprised me. Honestly, I was expecting 3 hours of crap, more so with Blades of Glory, as I don't like Will Ferrell and I hate John Heder.

Oh God, 8 movies (12 hours total length) in just a 23 hour timespan. My life is sad.

Anchorman

I've not actually seen this before, and after loads of "zOMG!" looks from my friends after admitting this, I decided to watch it. Man, was I missing out! Possibly one of the funniest movies I've seen in the past 10 years, this. All of the Frat Pack are on great form, really, and generally an awesome laugh-out-loud comedy. Probably one of the most quotable movies I've seen in years too, as well. Almost every scene had a great exchange of lines in, especially with Ferrell and the guy outta Friends who's name I forget. And Hell, all of the cameos in the fight scene were awesome.

10/10.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Blah, blah, blah) - * out of *****

Quite possibly the worst movie I've seen in years.

Details are needed. Why am I not surprised, though?

Oh yeah, recent ATHF has fucking sucked.

Grindhouse - 10/10

Okay, I've seen it 4 times since it came out. I can't get enough of this movie. I keep switching which movie I like more. The first time I saw it I liked Planet Terror more. The second time I watched it I liked Death Proof more. I love this movie!

Disturbia

***1/2 out of *****

Good little thriller flick. I usually hate these kind of movies, but I have to give props to the director for doing a good job. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a good scare, or is fans of the horror movie genre. A little slow to pick up, but when it does it is good. The last half hour is stellar, and definitely has some scream worthy moments.

Aqua Teen

Definitely the most disappointing movie I've seen in years. It was exactly what I feared it would be - funny for the first fifteen minutes, then 75 minutes of dragging along with a couple funny jokes here and there. You cannot make this show into a movie, it's just not designed for it.

Rewatched Grindhouse

Friday The 13th - The New Blood: 3/10

Friday The 13th - Jason Takes Manhattan: 4.5/10

The Butterfly Effect 2: 1.5/10

The Shining: 9.5/10

13 movies (totaling around 24 hours) in just a bit over 2 days. This is a record for me.

Disturbia - 8/10

I loved this movie. It's a great group triller movie. Many moments had me on the edge of my seat, and the middle aged player/murderer thing made me hate the "villian" of the movie like I was (most likely) inteded to do. Great movie, a definate buy, for me, when it's released on DVD.

Blades Of Glory - 6/10

I was completely obliterated by this point in the "Double Feature" at the drive-in.

Finally saw Grindhouse yesterday. Brilliant. How the fuck this thing only made 11million in it's opening weekend is beyond me. Best movie I've seen in years. By far. No doubt. I loved it. And the trailers are fucking awesome. Planet Terror > Death Proof, but just barely. And when the film was over, the theatre I was in which was all ages, all genders, all walks of life, burst into applause. Then it REALLY ended and we all fucking cheered. Great movie going experience.

10/10

Casino Royale - 8/10

The last part (the love story) bogged it down, but besides that, I think this may just be my favorite Bond movie made. Daniel Craig isn't the James Bond you've come to know (and love?) in the past decade, but he IS the charming, cold-hearted killer that James Bond should be. Spectacular movie with great directing, acting, and action scenes. I can't wait for Bond 22.

Grindhouse: 9/10

This is really a Theatre experience and must be seen at the cinemas. Both movies are great and the faux trailers must be seen to be believed!

Jason Goes To Hell - The Final Friday: 5/10

I want to hate this movie, it's just so incredibly stupid and bizarre. But it is a lot more enjoyable than parts 6,7 and 8. It has some really great death scenes, it did try something new and original (and didn't completely fail), and it's just a fun movie overall.

Unfortunately I don't own Jason X or Freddy vs Jason, so my extended "marathon" has ended. It's been fun.

14 movies in 3 days, that's something I'm proud of.
