C-MIL
Staying in tonight to watch. What time should I tune in?
Guest Mr. Potato Head
Prelims on Spike at 9 EST, PPV at 10. Same as always.

Powerhart
That was a sick rolling Guillotine. Wiki had it listed as: "Dollaway by ANAL WRECKAGE" Hahaha. Do we really have to put it in spoiler tags? It's inside the topic.
Guest Mr. Potato Head
I for one was hoping for a Mark Hunt renaissance.
Powerhart
Four prelim fights for free? Awesome.
EddieG
Actually, it should probably go in the live event discussion thread.
Powerhart
That topic turned into this one, didn't it? This one has been used for that lately.
Fitzy
This thread had been used in the past for events without spoiler tags used so it should be just fine. Matt Mitrione /Joe Beltran was a fun fight. Mitrione looked really good here. Enjoyed the finish for CB Dollaway/Joe Doerksen fight. Not a fan of Dollaway but was impressed with the way he held on and rolled through it with Doerksen to guillotine him for the win.
Guest Mr. Potato Head
This crowd is VERY quick to boo.
Powerhart
Was watching PRIDE earlier today and Bas was talking about how the American crowd was too impatient and that they booed every time the fight went to the ground, unlike the Japanese crowd who were very respectful and appreciated the ground game of the fighters. EDIT: That promo is beautiful. Edited September 26, 2010 by Powerhart
Powerhart
That is a nasty cut, reminds me of Eastman.
Guest Mr. Potato Head
This crowd would find something to boo in Bonnar/Griffin.
9 to 5
Shitty decision, but I had Sherk in my four-fold, so really, it was awesome. >_>
Trey
This crowd would find something to boo in Bonnar/Griffin. I'm surprised they didn't boo the hometown boy. But yeah, I was shocked that Sherk got the win.
Powerhart
One more fight bonus for Lytle.

gunnar hendershow
At least those obnoxious fans got a nice ending to their apparent 5 hours of misery. What I saw of the show was real weak though, the main event until Mir's knee was beyond dreadfully dull.
Thrilla
On first viewing, I gave the decision to Dunham. Sherk winning seems like bullshit. Haven't read the thread yet as I'm just watcing now, just needed to vent.

What I saw of the show was real weak though, the main event until Mir's knee was beyond dreadfully dull. The main event was dull, but for the most part it was just a crowd that was expecting...I don't know what they were expecting, but they booed any time guys went five seconds without punching each other in the face. It was maybe not on the level of the great cards from earlier in the summer, but it was still a very good show. And I had Dunham winning but Sherk winning was hardly robbery.
