I think you're getting it confused with Needle, which I believe is a short sword (or maybe just a sized-down sword) and IS castle forged steel, made at Winterfell.

I'm a bit surprised by the online comments I'm seeing about Sophie Turner being a terrible actor. I think she's great. In fact, in the recent spirit of hot takes, I think she's better than Maisie Williams.

I don't really get that either. She might have been a grumpy teenage girl in the first series, but she always struck me as someone to root for after that.

Something else I've had problems with is how some people hated Tommen more than Joffrey. Tommen was a well-meaning person who was easily manipulated, whereas Joffrey was a vicious bastard who would have been been pummelled on a daily basis if he hadn't been lucky enough to be born into royalty. If anything, Tommen's reign was going fine until Tywin died, and much of the chaos that arose afterwards stemmed from Cersei's bad decisions.

I think one part of it was that he banned trials by combat, seemingly denying fans their precious Cleganebowl for a little while. I'd say that getting rid of a judicial system that's heavily biased in favour of warriors or warriors' friends is a good thing, but I'm obviously not a fully paid-up member of the "GET HYPE" brigade.

I've never heard anyone say they hate Tommen, certainly not more than Joffrey. Most people, myself included, just completely nothing Tommen.
