This is the moment where it all went wrong for Team GB in the women's sprint cycling. The riders are not allowed to switch over before the white line. Pendleton, the overtaking rider, is on the inner with Varnish on the outer. It appears to be a very marginal call to me. Fractions in it:

Seems a pretty silly mistake to make, really, can't blame anyone but ourselves there.

It's so close, I don't think it's any real fault of the two riders. It's not some glaring mistake though of course it's unavoidable. Jamie Staff made the good point that the riders aren't looking at the floor to see it, they're looking at the rider in front.

Amazing by Team GB, I just wish the womens thing had never happened, we must be on for so many medals in the cycling.
