The incredibly underrated Scoot McNairy has joined Batman V Superman in an unspecified role.

Seems like him and Affleck have become buddies recently so it's not too surprising. He's a really great actor though so I'm curious how big his role will be.

I don't about Spider-Man, but Captain America: The Winter Soldier got the same treatment. They showed the vast majority of the opening scene on the boat before the 300 sequel. Needless to say, the Cap clip was the best part of the evening.

I've not read the comics in years, but it was always a fairly significant part of his character that he was a chain-smoker. Apparently the people behind the TV series have said they'll try and incorporate it as much as they can without actually showing it, so I imagine there'll be lots of him coughing and ashtrays with smoke drifting out of them, without ever explicitly showing him smoking a cigarette...
