Agreed. The Fernandez posturing I kinda got, but then it just kept going.

Let McCann walk, trade B.J. Upton if you can. If Justin gets upset, ship him, too. Send Uggla elsewhere. This Braves team makes me think of the Hawks if they actually had acquired superstar talent.

I wanted the Dodgers to win, anyway (my parents are fans). But this just adds to me being glad they knocked Hatelanta out.

The Dodgers are going to have the best pitcher going in at least four out of any seven games they play, with the possible exception of facing Detroit. I don't want to hope, but I don't see any way they don't, at the very least, make the World Series at this point. Neither St. Louis, nor Pittsburgh, match up well with them.

At least the Pirates can celebrate beating their biggest rival in their first playoff game in 21 years, that's really awesome. Taking their 2nd biggest rival to a Game 5 is a tough loss but man, what a season they had.

Of course they do. But none of those fanbases also simultaneously promote the fact that they're the "best fans in baseball."

I have nothing against the Cardinals. They're not the Reds or the Brewers or even the Cubs. I respect the team. Their fans are a different level of obnoxious though.

Yeah, A's got absolutely shut down by Verlander. I think Detroit has a good shot against Boston if they can silence the Red Sox bats in a few games.
