It's more the relevance of the clubs' pedigree. You can speak about what relevant experience the players or managers involved have, but to say that Dortmund reaching the final was somehow made more likely by their 1996/97 victory? That this gave them something that Atletico don't have?

Arguably the Atletico players (or at least those who remain) having won two Europa Leagues in recent years gives them more "big tournament" experience than the Borussia Dortmund team had last year. But that in itself is still only one minor factor.

PSG won't be easy (virtually no one would be), but having the second leg at home makes me confident. Hopeful that I can get a ticket to the Paris match as well...

Found out the team this morning, madness that Kagawa has been dropped yet again.

Tried to midfield three against City and it got battered. I'd be surprised if Giggs in for Cleverley changes that. Either way, looking forward to this, should be a cracker.
