The PS4 thread

The Vita is a great investment if you have a PS4.

The other day I was at a friends who lives 60~ miles away. I hooked the Vita up to his WiFi, turned my PS4 on remotely and had a game of CoD on my PS4 which was at home. Really cool.

It's pretty much a portable PS4 at this point. You can play all the PSOne classics on it and stream your PS4 to that screen, so you can play PS4 games anywhere with a wifi connection. Can get a pre-owned one for about £70 or a new one for between £100-140.

There are a lot of great games that you can only get on the Vita (or, well - the PS TV) the features that I didn't see any kind of real use for were the internet play and remote play ones. I had no need to be CONSTANTLY on the machine when I had it and my girlfriend wanted to watch something else and the internet play thing wasn't the greatest really - I mean it's nice that it has these features, but they're far less of a selling feature than Sony would like to think they are.

Sony is amending the PS Now program. Rather then paying per game, it'll now be a monthly subscription. 19.99 a month, or a three month block for 44.95
