The Barclays Premier League Thread 2014/2015

Ahh, the mythical 'Premier League experience', because the Premier League plays to a completely different rule set to the rest of world football.

The Premier League is much physical. If you look at the Spanish, German and Italians it isn't more physical than the Premier League. It is also a completely different tempo to the different European leagues.

Much physical, many tackles, so wow.

:shifty:

"I don't shy away from it and I'm not going to hide," Pardew said of the increasing speculation.

"I'm not holding any grievance against the media, or some of our more militant fans, or the guys who printed the posters.

"I've been out and about and had a few fans telling me their opinions, quite strongly. A few cars are diving a bit too close to me.

"I get it. I will go home, shine my manager of the year trophy and give myself a bit of confidence."

Amusing last line.

He is rubbish, but I can't help but like him...

Balotelli has been dropped and replaced by Lambert.

Markovic and Enrique drop out as well from midweek and replaced by Lallana and Moreno.

I'm liking the look so far, Coutinho is sitting deeper to allow Hendo the freedom to run forward more. A win is essential today, and if we cannot get it, then that's just embarrassing at this point.

I would like to see wide players getting to the byline a bit more. Right now it is all crossed from the edge of the box.

It's been a much improved performance. Sterling and Coutinho haven't been their best but over all the team looks a bit sharper.
