I only played campaign so far with 4 people, I'd like to try versus however.

Versus is good fun.

If we can get 8 people going, then we can have a pure EWB game. Otherwise, we can have two on one team, and two on the other.

Also, it sucks when doing versus, and the other team has the AI as a teammate....they always know where you are and shoot you in the face before you can pounce them!

No to both. NHL 09 does allow you to sign on guests, but not NHL 08.

L4D is an awesome game, especially the multiplayer. Played through the campaign on normal with a bunch of friends, and versus mode is all sorts of awesome. Just send me an invite if anyone wants to play.
