The more I look at it the more this team makes sense. Cole, Terry, Cahill and Johnson are all unavailable (assuming Johnson is still injured), as is Lampard.

As Split said though, he is on stand by but I don't see why Terry isn't playing, it's not as if he had to play in the CL Final.

That's pretty much how we've been playing. Rooney behind a main striker, usually Bent, and Young and Walcott on the flanks with two sitters.

I figured we'd get a different keeper tonight and Hart will be back for next weeks game. Good to see Carrol getting the start here as Woy's probably trying out his secondary striker to Rooney. Iffy on Downing but I think the team set up for tonight is good enough to get us a result. Liking the formation being what I wanted it to be too, 4-2-3-1 could be very successful for us.
