Well, I guess that's that. What a fucking fantastic two weeks it's been - seems a lot longer. What with me likely having a job by 2016 and the stupid event times due to the time difference, I think it'll be a very long time until I enjoy a games even nearly as much as I enjoyed that

I think Istanbul would be cool. Old old city and everything, and it would be a great thing for Turkey and South Eastern Europe/ Middle East, could be a very culturally significant games.

Its far too early to pick favourites though, until it was awarded I don't think London was ever favourite. It languished somewhere behind New York and Paris most of the campaigns

It won't be Madrid, I can't see how Spain can even put a bid together considering the mess they are in. A big backlash was building towards the bid before I even left there.

I think 2024 will see a return to Canada, most likely Toronto. I wonder how close we are to our first African Olympics though.

I'd be surprised if Toronto gets 2024. I think a return to the US comes first, and we might get a Winter Olympics in Quebec City before a Summer Olympics in Toronto before all is said and done.
