Grand Theft Auto V

I ended up getting that drug deal gone wrong thing again. Luckily this time I managed to stay alive and not get killed by two cars fleeing the scene. Used the grenade launcher to take care of the guys that came.

I really cannot wait for Online to come. I just want to have fun with the container of gasoline against actual people.

Should be an icon on the map for it once you pick up strangers for a random task. I happened to get a couple who were drunk and needed a ride back to their hotel; decided to take them to the camp instead (with them attempting to get busy on the ride there :pervert: )

So, I swapped my presumed faulty copy for another sealed one today, and that had the same problem. I've managed to get it working by putting my save data on a memory stick and only plugging it in after the game has been booted up. But the Bears game is in in 5 minutes and I'm scared to switch GTA off in case I lose it again >_>

I was having to use some loader thing to move big containers. I did my best to be really careful. Took a long time to do it just right but then I dropped the crate from a foot off the ground and it said I failed. I am done for the day :P

Yeah, it took me ages to figure out which two crates I was picking up and then when I did I barely scraped the second crate and MISSION FAILED.

Is it just me or is there a distinct lack of police presence aside from when wanted?

Yep, you barely see police cars on the street bar the odd chase, but the second you get that one star out pops four cars out of nowhere.

I see police cars all the time.

What flavour 360 do you have? I was reading earlier that there are problems popping up with the old models but I imagine yours is fairly new.

Slim 250gb.I've just played for about two hours with no issue, so I guess I'll just leave my save files on the memory stick. Bizarre.

Ending spoilers:

Y'all get slapped around the head the entire game being taught the lesson of not abandoning your friends, and you decide to accept 'fate' and kill one of them? Y'all are idiots

:P

Well, I kinda had a feeling one of Trevor or Michael would die... it pretty much had to go down that way. With the character switching, I assumed it'd be something involving a choice and I kinda made my mind up fairly early on that if that happened Trevor would be the one to go. I never really got emotionally attached to him like I did with Michael and Franklin to it was an easy choice in some ways. I didn't WANT to kill either of them, but I didn't want to risk Franklin dying more. Once I called Michael asking for help and he was all "I dunno, dude, it's your problem," I really wanted to change my decision but he redeemed himself at the end. I was kinda gutted that there wasn't the typical impossible final GTA mission... I found the last heist to be pretty easy. I only struggled on the traffic light bit but I aced that once I got used to what I needed to do. The actual combat was a walk in the park.

Yeah, I have to admit that as far as the heists went, GTA IV's generally blew them out of the park, which is a real shame because this was so strongly built on that concept. Outside of that, I felt the gameplay improved pretty much everywhere.

Also, possible spoiler below:

Did I run into Packie? I saw a random event with a pair of Irish guys, but I was fucked by police before I could help them escape.

Erm, I did most of the blipped side missions and fucked around a fair bit (and died... a lot), and I'd say about 20, probably more. Still got plenty of other stuff to do (races, searches etc).

EDIT: Just checked Rockstar social and it was more like 35 hours. Where did the time go? >_>
