Is it supposed to be raining on the last flight school test?

It happened to me. Just back out (as in go back out of the flight school itself) and then start it again. The rain just makes it more difficult which fuck that.

Yeah I quit, went around committing some homicides, lost the cops, went back and it's not raining anymore fortunately.

Jesus fucking christ General, shut up about money already. You know why it's hard to make $150,000,000? BECAUSE IT'S FUCKING $150,000,000! I showed you an exploit to get rich quick and you scoffed at it.

Also, micro transactions are for GTA: Online, so they have no bearing in the offline mode, as there are going to be totally different ways to earn money.

Also, shut up, everyone is tired of you complaining about fake money in a video game.

Plus, an easy way to work the money system is to just leave the Assassination missions 'til you've beaten the game. You'll have absurd amounts of money with which to invest.

Not skippable, you need to do a few missions, but I didn't have to complete it to do the Trevor mission that requires it.

I've never had to do flight school, so it depends on which heist plan you use I'm guessing.

I'm doing the flight school for fun and then I'm going to go finish the flying under 50 bridges challenge, all just to annoy Srar. :P

"Well, okay, I think I'm going to just switch to Trevor to start this mission now."

*Switches to Trevor, suddenly wanted with two stars.*

"GODDAMN IT, TREVOR."

Same exact thing happened to me. Switched to Trevor, he had 3 stars, racing up the highway yelling "This is discrimination against drug addicts with propensities for violence!"

I was just biking around the wilderness when I stumbled onto a farm and got prompted that it was a pot farm, and that I could raid it and take their earnings. So I did. Killed a few Mexican goons, grabbed their cash (25k), and took off in their SUV. I had no idea that was even possible, was a cool surprise. AAAAAAAAAAANYWAY, I just beat the game. Any heist where there was an option to not fly, I took that route. :shifty: Anything I could do to minimize my flight time, pretty much. I don't mind flying planes, but fuck, for some reason helicopters just ruin my day. >_>

Anyway, some thoughts (ENDING SPOILERS AHOOOOOOY):

First off, I have to say I really adore the whole focus on heists. Heist missions have always been my favorite in any GTA game, from the Casino heist of San Andreas to the bank heist in GTA IV. The bank heist in IV was my favorite mission of the whole game.

That said, though, I feel like the last heist was kind of weak, in terms of difficulty. I don't know if I've just gotten better or if V's just a little easier, but I'm used to failing the final mission(s) of any given GTA game multiple times before I finally get the hang of it. I beat the final heist in this game in two goes, and that was only because of a freak accident (stupid pedestrian ran right in front of my armored car as I was pulling out onto the highway, instantly got 5 stars and failed). Still, it was a supremely fun mission, and like I said, I adore heist missions. Looking forward to more in GTA Online.

Also, I went with option C - Deathwish - and saved both Michael and Trevor. Dunno how things go when you choose to save one or the other, but in Option C you kill Steve Haines, Stretch, Wei Cheng, and Devin Weston. I feel like, despite being a main character, Franklin's kind of an afterthought sometimes. I mean, his big bad at the end of the game in Option C is.. Stretch. Sure, the guy set him and Lamar up a few times, but he just seems like a super weak antagonist that should've been dealt with way before the end of the game.

Speaking of Online, I'm assuming that a lot of the stores that have detailed interiors and can't be entered can be in GTAO. Not sure why else certain Lucky Plucker and Burger Shot franchises have such detailed interiors instead of the standard cardboard look of buildings that can't be entered. There's also a bank in the Rockford Hills area that can be entered, but I'm pretty sure it was never part of the main storyline. Maybe a heist location for GTAO? My assumption as far as the online storyline is that we'll start as small-time hoods holding up convenience stores and graduate to bigger and better scores.

9 gold, 2 silver and a bronze on the first helicopter run.

God knows what they've done to choppers, it's like they're drunk.

How do you access the blimp? I called it in and they delivered one apparently to a racetrack but there was no sign of it, even though I'm standing right at the blip on the radar.

It took me a while to find it. It's like, slap bang in the middle of the racetrack. You have to walk around to find it.

I don't think I've ever flown a helicopter in a straight line in V, it's always tilting one way or the other.

I have to say though I've impressed myself with my flying and landing, I think it's because it's fresh in my mind from play GTA:SA recently.
