I've had the same Taker/HBK sequence, where he catches me mid-elbow drop..I thought I finally had that match won after like, 5 tries, but nope..

Totally just caved and ordered a copy from Amazon. How are the community creation servers this year? I was playing WWE 12 like a week before 13 dropped and they were still awful...

Fast as fuck.

They were horrendous on '12, but they're about as fast and smooth as you could possibly imagine so far on this. Still no Sara Del Rey or Kong been made though, come on people, get to work. Though I did grab a few crazy arenas, in particular an NCW one, which was funky as hell and looked like something out of an early 90's video game when used with the classic blue steel cage

Damn, Taker's a monster in the HIAC match. Every time Kane leaves, he pops right up and Tombstones me for the win.

It took me ages to beat Taker in the cell. I kept attempting my signature elbow drop only for him to keep catching me, turning it into a piledriver and then beating me.

The trick is to save a finisher right before Kane appears, do the signature move and then go for the pin. This should trigger the Kane cut-scene without wasting the finisher and leaving you horribly underpowered.

Fuck it, I caved. Couldn't help it...not after all the talk of the gameplay actually being fun and the servers being good. Am enjoying it so far, just playing some random matches in Universe. I have a 4 brand set up right now - Raw, SD, Attitude Raw, and Attitude SD. There's only like 16 wrestlers per brand, but I'm only picking and choosing matches to play one at a time.

2 biggest complaints so far: 1) Universe seems to book the same matches over and over again. How many times does John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar need to be the main event of Raw? Nothing different happens any time I play it. and 2) Seems like guys pop up at the count of 1 WAY too often.

Haven't even started Attitude Era mode yet.
