2012/13 Europa League thread

Rodgers has hinted that Raheem Sterling could start tonight.

Wouldn't surprise me. He's perfect for the game Rogers plays, more or less. I would say he'll get a few Europa League games this season.

They have some decent stuff too, but I'm trying to save money so can't really justify getting it. That and a few people say they aren't adverse to saying it'll be 'Copa Libertadores match x' and instead showing a totally different replay of something else.

EDIT: 1-0 to the Greeks. Epstein with it.

Former Newcastle United player Shekfi Kuqi's brother, Njazi, is starting up front for Atromitos. :

2ND EDIT: And former Liverpool player Itandje in goals. :o (Not that he'd be outfield..)

Liverpool team to play Hearts:

Reina, Robinson, Carragher, Agger, Kelly, Henderson, Spearing, Adam, Shelvey, Sterling, Borini

Subs: Jones, Coates, Downing, Allen, Luca, Flanagan, Morgan

No Andy Carroll as he's injured.

It took 20 minutes or so but the players are finally starting to follow Rodgers' game plan: Get it to Sterling.

Makes sense.

It's not like Henderson, Adam or Shevley have much to offer.

He's the only winger on the pitch.

Hearts are pressing the hell out of us.

And we just hit the post. Lolerpool.

Saw a brilliant ball in from Henderson before that Borini didn't connect with. Shame he hit the post there, was an incredible steal from Sterling and he brought it down so well. Hope Borini manages to find some form this season, not a big fan of Liverpool but do like Borini.
