Didn't realize the Cubs didn't invite Sosa to the 100 year celebration. Not sure how I feel about that. I mean he was a big part of our history but he is also an embarrassing part of it.

Yeah, neither side was on great terms but Sosa's said he's willing to talk to the Cubs and both sides seem willing to try and patch things up.

If Cano had gone to the Red Sox, that'd be one thing, but booing him for going to Seattle? It's not like the Yankees couldn't afford him.

They could afford him. They'd just be stupid to give him that kind of contract.

Yeah Cano's contract ends when he's 41. After the A-Rod deal the Yankees aren't lining up to give anyone a contract into their 40s.
