It's a bit of a misnomer to say 'PL teams are paying £30m for international reserves'.

Only 4 teams (Arsenal, Chelsea and the Manchesters) could do that, another 2 (Liverpool and Spurs) could stretch to it if they sold someone else for big money first and the other 14 haven't got a hope of doing so.
