Michael Oliver is constantly shitting the bed in this match.

United should have had a pen and Smalling should be sent off.

We were absolutely outstanding today. Bournemouth barely had a sniff and we dominated from start to finish, it's really nice to see us just see out games confidently. A huge test to come in April, but I just love this team.

I don't know how Van Gaal does it but he always seems to win when he has to. Hats off to the team they worked hard together as a team at the end despite being knackered and got their rewards. Rashford and Martial could be a fearsome strike force in the future.

Think it was a fair result the draw today a game of two halves. Disappointing we couldn't see it through but all we did in the second half was invite Newcastle on, the equaliser was inevitable. Not a great result for either side given the Norwich win, hopefully somehow both sides can get out of it if Palace continue their run.

Allardyce said this after the game today:

"Now we are going to go right to the wire to try to stay safe, and that's the bottom line."

I only wish he had followed that up by saying "cos Big Sam said so!" before walking off camera breaking open a can of Samweiser.

Sissoko needs to stop running with the ball, then stopping when he's confronted with a defender and kicking the ball against their shins. He has zero end product.

Let him bomb through the middle and he's really dangerous. The best football he played for us was like that.

Mike Ashley has admitted he “regrets” buying Newcastle United but says he and the club are “wedded” to each other.

The Premier League could soon hold a pre-season tournament in Africa which mirrors the Asia Trophy, Richard Scudamore has said.

A biennial four-team event has taken place in Asia since 2003 and the Premier League’s executive chairman is planning to expand the format across the globe.

“Maybe we will bring one of our international tournaments [to Africa],” Scudamore told BBC Sport. “We have one in Asia and probably, at some point, Africa and America will have to feature.”

Scudamore was speaking at the BPL Live event in Cape Town, which showed the weekend’s Premier League action on giant screens in front of 35,000 football fans. Former Premier League players forming part of the event included Peter Schmeichel, Robbie Fowler, Quinton Fortune and Lucas Radebe.

“These events are like a theme park for Premier League fans,” added Scudamore. “They are good because people can come and touch and feel and be part of something – we will do more and more of these fan events.”

West Ham have completed the signing of Manuel Lanzini on a four-year contract from Al Jazira. The 23-year-old midfielder had been on loan from the UAE club and has now sealed a permanent switch to Upton Park. The deal, which includes an option for a further two years, is understood to be worth around £9m.
