Arsenal played well. They got men behind the ball, to the point where Giroud looked like a DM at times. But in the first half in particular, Arsenal created the better chances. Once Barca upped the pace of their play, it was much more difficult to deal with. Barca's opener came from an Arsenal attack and then Flamini put in a stupid challenge for the pen that brought the second. If the Ox hadn't shot like a FIFA centre back in the first half from 8 yards, it could have been different.

Good to see the team we beat 6-1 on aggregate in the Europa last season in the last 16 of the Champions League while we slum it in the bottom half of the Prem.

There's a risk I won't even be able to get to tonight's game as trains my way are disrupted/delayed/cancelled due to flooding. This would make me sad.

...Not as sad if I go, we get battered, and then my trains *back* are cancelled to leave me stuck in London overnight. That, admittedly, would be worse.
