Undecided about rooting my Galaxy Note 2. Custom ROMS are out, since it'll set off the flash counter and screw me over if I have to return it, and no custom ROMs have S Pen support, which I've grown to like in the week I've had it

Might be depending on the carrier then. Tmobile tends to be positive to unlocked phones, Verizon is iffy, AT&T tends to dislike

Why don't you root it and just hold off on custom roms for a little while? At least then you won't have to worry about losing all your data if you decide to flash roms later.

Don't use a rubber band. You need blood flow to help it heal. Well that and to stop it dying and falling off. I don't know if duct tape will stay on with sweat in a sock. A bandaid or two bandaids stuck together might work it the duct tape doesn't just use the tape from your works first aide kit if you know where it is/they have one.

2 year anniversary of my mom passing away. My actions of the day are burned into my memory forever. Wasn't until 6 months ago that I deleted her number out of my cellphone. Still get moments where its like "I need to text mom...oh.." Will it ever stop? Will I ever get to the point where I think of her and not cry?
