Yeah Bortles will definitely latch on somewhere, probably getting a Foles-esque "high-priced backup" deal on a team with a QB on a rookie deal. I'm not a big Bortles fan but you can do a whole lot worse than having him as your backup.

Lions could use a quality back up. I suspect they’d want to go younger than Bortles though. 

Edit - he is only 26 though. I still think we go rookie but Bortles could work if Detroit doesn’t want to waste a pick on QB.

Jon Gruden apparently wants to eliminate instant replay.

That's pretty much the last straw as far as I'm concerned with him. He can't be fired from the league and back in the booth soon enough.

I'll be honest, maybe ditching the coach's challenge isn't a bad idea. There's enough time between plays where a booth can radio in to challenge a suspect play.

The Giants have decided to not franchise tag Landon Collins.  Awful.  Just awful.

Truth be told, I think Collins is a bit overrated.  He was amazing in 2016 but took a step back in 17/18.  Still, he's probably a top-3 strong safety in the league and while I'd argue that's still less valuable than the 12th best CB in today's game, he'd still be an asset and he was a team leader.  But moreover, if they weren't going to franchise tag him, then why did they not trade him when they were 1-7 and getting third round offers for him?  Terrible.

Seemed inevitable. He had a big cap hit next year and while good plays a position that simply isn't worth that price anymore.
