I love Suburban Commando. Mad I missed most of it by the time I tuned in.

Also, I can't believe the Road Warriors didn't get a fucking movie. I guess they were a rip off of Mad Max but just call them Legion of Doom and have them run through gangs in the city or something. Road Warriors kicking ass on the silver screen would be fantastic.

Ok' i'm going to say this right now. I enjoyed the shit out of A Good Day to Die Hard

Haven't seen it, but Live Free or Die Hard was a great popcorn action flick

Despicable Me 2 was some fun. Think they perhaps went a little overboard on the Minions silliness, but it was still fun.

It was pretty much exactly at the level I expected it to be, so was neither blown away nor disappointed. It's a bit difficult to express that though without sounding...well, disappointed. :shifty:

Before Midnight. Wow. My favourite film of the year so far, I recon (although it's hard to compare them to A Hijacking & The Act Of Killing, all of which couldn't be more different.) Beautiful, realistic filmmaking which reflects reality to such a staggering degree once again. The series of films could well be my favourite trilogy of all time.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - I really liked it, not as much as the first one but it's still great. I'm in love with the whole mine action scene, the fight before plus the minecar ride. It reminded so much of Donkey Country levels 2-1 2-2. It's a lot darker then the first one but also goofier. I must say, Ford is amazing as Dr. Jones. But now I'm typing this, I did annoy myself with Short Round and Willie. Still a lot of fun though.

I watched Kick-Ass for the second time the other day to decide whether or not I wanted to see the sequel. I remember disliking that movie when I watched it in theaters, but I really liked it this time and honestly can't remember why i hated it the first go around, except for maybe the constant killing, but that kinda comes with the territory.

Finally watched Skyfall and was very impressed. Not sure if I prefer it to Casino Royale but its certainly in my top ten Bonds. I should do a list.

I did think though that the very real dark feel of the film slightly jarred with Javier Bardem planning the most grandiose for the sake of being grandiose Bond villain scheme ever. He planned all the attacks of the first hour, got intentionally captured, escaped while risking death through a very elaborate scheme, all just to sneak on the tube to Westminster from Temple, and he still got a lift at the other end. It's only £2.10 on his Oyster, or he could've walked. Crazy Javier.

Don't watch Pacific Rim, it'll ruin everything else for you. So much fucking fun.

Everything about that film is exactly what a film about mechs vs. monsters should be. So wonderful, I loved it. Charlie Day steals the show, totally. Also stick around for the first set of credits for an awesome mini-scene before the long ass credits.

Oh yeah. GI Joe: Retaliation is fun. Guns were fired, swords were fought with and things went boom. What more do you need?

That but with Charlie Day and mechs!

I have GI Joe lined up ready to watch at some point, not sure which needs to come first, that or Fast Six.
