The Budweiser FA Cup

I think it's more likely that both parties decided it wasn't for them. There was a lot at the time about Martinez not wanting to work with a Director of Football and he's said he turned it down a couple of times since I believe. I know Werner's said we didn't offer him the job but that doesn't mean Martinez didn't decide the set-up wasn't for him before we appointed Rodgers.

Martinez was seen and pictured with John Henry in the States so talks definitely happened at least.

That was the worst I've ever seen Everton play. Neville was diabolical as were Fellaini and Pienaar. Not that anyone had a good game. If anyone bar Mucha has a rating higher than a 3 in the papers tomorrow it'll be unjustified. What a waste of a fantastic opportunity.

I'm starting to feel that Moyes thinks he's taken the club as far as he can. I can see him leaving at the end of the season and money gained from a big-money sale being put into a new boss rebuilding key areas of the side.

Moyes is stalling on signing a new contract so he definitely fancies his chances at a bigger club, but the problem is the top five want a manager with proven continental experience, which is sadly a Catch-22 for British managers unless they go abroad to build up said experience first. Moyes could probably get a decent gig in Europe somewhere, maybe Holland, but he's unlikely to want to try it and in any event he'd probably be earning less money than he is now too, so I guess him and Everton are married to eachother forever.

If Steve McClaren can get a job in Germany then surely David Moyes could.

Last summer after Harry went I thought Moyes might have went to Tottenham but there isn't any realistic teams in England that I can see him going to. The only team bigger than Everton who are going to be after a new manager in the summer is Chelsea but I cannot see Abramovich hiring Moyes over someone with European experience.

Yet to find any glimmer of positivity in any Chelsea fan. We're going to get battered.

(And if we don't, in a way that makes our unnecessary shitness against smaller clubs all the more infuriating. <_<)

For Stoke's benefit the odds in australia are Man Utd $1.65 to win and Chelsea are paying about double that(which isn't too bad).

So either the betting agencies down here don't think it'll be a total blowout or they just don't want to risk making Chelsea's price too attractive incase they win.

De Gea

Rafael - Ferdinand - Evans - Evra

Nani - Carrick - Cleverley - Kagawa

Hernandez - Rooney

Subs: Amos, Valencia, Anderson, Vidic, Young, Welbeck, Van Persie

Cech

Azpilicueta - Cahill - Luiz - Cole

Ramires - Lampard

Moses - Mata - Oscar

Ba

Subs: Turnbull, Ivanovic, Torres, Mikel, Hazard, Terry, Bertrand.

(Not that I have any idea what formation United are actually using.)

So will Hernandez wait until the second half to score against us, or just storm through from the start?
