A cheap lift or an expensive train.

Gee Whiz, I wonder which Linker is gonna choose. :P

Yes, the £12 train from Birmingham to London is soooo expensive, it doesn't cost as much or maybe even more in petrol at all. <_<

CHICAGO (July 29, 2013) — U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Stuart Holden has been diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee following an MRI evaluation Monday in Chicago.

Holden will consult with the medical teams of U.S. Soccer and Bolton Wanderers to formulate a treatment plan.

“We are absolutely devastated for Stuart,” said U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann. “He is such a great part of our team on the field and the locker room. He worked tremendously hard to recover from previous injuries and had really come back into form. He was fully prepared to head back to Bolton and challenge for a starting spot. Now he will have our full support as he goes down this road again, and we will be with him every step of the way.”

Holden suffered the injury in the 18th minute of the USA’s 1-0 win against Panama in the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup final. He had recently returned to the National Team, making his first appearance in more than two years when he entered as a substitute on May 29 against Belgium.

Gutted for the lad. Some players just don't have any luck. Get well soon.

Stuck my e/w accumulator bet on today for the winners of each league. Top 3 places paid. Scum @ 12/5 Forest @ 11/1 Wolves @ 7/2 Portsmouth @ 5/1. Decent odds IMO. Obviously one of them will end up finishing midtable but at 400+/1 its worth £1 e/w.

Can we take him to Uprawr Gary?

That would be wonderful.

Birmingham City striker Marlon King has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a man injured.
The crash happened near London's West End at 00:06 BST on Saturday.
Police were called to Bishops Bridge Road at the junction with Eastbourne Terrace over reports that a car had struck a pedestrian.
The man, aged in his late 40s, was taken to a central London hospital with a head injury. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The Metropolitan Police said the vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
A Met spokeswoman said: "A 33-year-old man was subsequently arrested by officers from City of London Police on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic collision and taken to a central London police station.
"He has been bailed to mid-September pending further inquiries."
A spokesman for Birmingham City said the club was aware of the incident.
King, whose previous clubs include Watford, Middlesbrough and Coventry City, is reportedly available on a free transfer and in talks with other Championship clubs about a possible move.
The club has confirmed King was free to look for a new club this summer.
