Man City are facing a disciplinary process by UEFA because their fans booed the Champions League anthem.

Why would you boo the Champions League anthem?

According to The Telegraph...

City fans regularly boo the Champions League anthem in protest over Uefa's decision to fine them for breaching its Financial Fair Play regulations last year.

Don't breach the rules then. :/

How was the Arsenal win jammy?

They had very little of the ball and were passed to death and the first goal was a rare Neuer boo boo. Not that they didn't deserve anything from it but I'd say they were lucky to get 3 points.

I think that's very harsh. How many times have Arsenal lost a game where they've had loads of possession and passed a team to death, at which point we'll say they lacked a cutting edge? If anything that's Arsenal finally learning to change tactics for a team technically superior to them and countering rather than going hell for leather.

Sevilla and Juventus booed the anthem too but never mind them right?

See you're just doing it all wrong, you just need to chant "And now you're going to believe us, the football league's UEFA is corrupt"

City have gotten so big that now it's not just the referees - UEFA have joined the conspiracy to sabotage City too!

I can't be the only one that thinks that UEFA sanctioning Man City because their supporters booed the champions league anthem isn't quite going to have the effect they hope?

Rooney! About fucking time. He still had another off night though.

Still, Martial off for Fellaini was laughable. We can't keep playing this way for 70+ mins in games. I say 70 because there were periods in this one where we actually looked threatening. Here's hoping more of that carries over to the West Brom game.

'Non non Monsieur Platini, they are saying 'Boo-salona' because they want to test themselves against the best teams from La Liga'.

Manchester City fans were reportedly attacked in Seville on Monday night before the club’s Champions League match against Sevilla.

According to reports, the City supporters were attacked in the streets as well as in an Irish pub. No arrests were made although two fans did report some minor injuries. One witness described the events as “horrible” and recounted seeing chairs being thrown and one person suffering a wound to the head. “It was horrible. Some people came into the bar and they were wearing masks,” he told the Manchester Evening News.

“They began shouting ‘hooligans, hooligans’. They were fighting and throwing chairs everywhere. It all happened so quickly. It was over in 10 minutes. The fighting was really scary. Some people ran out of the bar which was packed as they wanted to get away. I think someone was injured. There was somebody with blood on their head. The police came and ambulances came too.”

The clashes follow similar incidents in Manchester city centre before Manuel Pellegrini’s side beat Sevilla 2-1 when four people were arrested after a disturbance involving supporters.

Footage and photographs of that event showed fights between fans as well as chairs and other objects being thrown. A tweet from Greater Manchester police revealed three of the people arrested were Polish.

Platini clearly hired the Sevilla fans to attack the Man City fans.  You don't boo the UEFA anthem and get away with it.
