Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has mocked Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger as the Blues prepare to play Manchester City on Sunday.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini signed a new contract recently after finishing a second in the league last season.

When asked if he was surprised by the deal, Mourinho said: "Why? Some other clubs, they have disappointed for 15 years and the manager is the same."

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger makes two changes to the side that lost 2-0 at home to West Ham on last weekend’s opening day. Chile forward Alexis Sanchez makes his first start of the season following his extended break after the Copa America to replace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, while Hector Bellerin replaces Mathieu Debuchy at right-back.

Arsenal XI: Cech, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Ramsey, Cazorla, Ozil, Sanchez, Giroud.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew makes two changes to the side that won 3-1 at Norwich last Saturday. There are home debuts for Yohan Cabaye and Connor Wickham, who replaces Glenn Murray up front, while Yannick Bolasie comes in for midfielder Jordan Mutch. On-loan Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford could come off the bench for a first Palace appearance.
