Need to improve going forward but two wins and two clean sheets is a lovely start.

Darmian is looking comfortable and we were much better when Schweinsteiger came on.

You'll always be able to pick out something, though I don't remember him getting done for pace at all, but by Chris Smalling standards (and, indeed, the rest of our centre halves) of recent years, he was excellent again.

Smalling is a cheating cunt who needs to keep his hands to himself. Jordan Amavi is just incredibly not shit relative to every left back we've had in the last decade.

I wouldn't say every game has been shit, but the televised matches except Swansea/Chelsea and Man City/West Brom have been below par. There's been some good stuff with Leicester, Watford and Palace as well.

Decent win today. By no means amazing but some good signs in there. I think there will be a higher quality of play and more flair once we're a few more games in. Hopefully we sign Pedro and a striker to give us more oomph. I think with our strong midfield we can get away with our defence, although Blind has started well as a centre back thus far.

That was a hideous game of football. It's a shame the United brand gets them a ton of live matches,  under Van Gaal I find them so boring. And seeing the player Rooney has become is terrible. 

On the positive side, tomorrow looks like two great games.
