Drew Brees was filming a commercial in Venezuela for PointsBet and was, apparently, struck by lightning. Footage it out there of it and it's pretty disturbing.

There's people claiming it has to be fake because how would nobody else there have been struck.  If it's fake it's incredibly tasteless.

So far, PointsBet have just put out a general statement that they're in touch with "Brees' team" and they have no further comment at this time.

Hope he's OK.

The Rams are just having a historically bad Super Bowl hangover season.  Tough to even think that they won it all in the same calendar year.

Rams will likely rebound next year, but this is a lost season in an incredibly small window. Fortunately for them they won the Super Bowl. And Detroit is sitting pretty with a high pick from the Rams this year.

Out for the game. I'm suspecting they confirm a season-ender tomorrow. And then... we go right into the hot takes Olympics.

In the end if it's severe enough that nobody wants to give him a megadeal then Lamar should sue to the NFLPA for telling him not to take the contract extension offered by the Ravens.
