That goal looked very clean to me, well played by both Ake and Stones with a perfect placement on the ball from KDB. I think the look was to see if the ball curled back in to the pitch? Don't think there was anything else to look at.

We haven't played bad but you can tell its not a full strength team. We've gotten behind a few times and just with a bit more quality I can see us getting back. We've not been blown away.

I'd reckon Salah, Gakpo and Robertson are going to be on 2nd half.

And that'll make Liverpool stronger and sharper up front.

Liverpool should have won that.

But given the starting 11, Id have taken a draw before the game.

We were by far the better side, and we should have taken our chances. Diaz missed a hat trick of golden opportunities.

That said, that was a stonewall penalty and it doesn't surprise me in the least bit the referee and VAR wouldn't give a penalty that late in a match that big, when the team committing the penalty is Manchester City.

That was a great stonewall penalty for Arsenal. They have to be delighted with it. Huge win for them today.

Brilliant performance, outstanding in the second half and missed some good chances.
