Diego Costa shakes off a hamstring injury to start up front for Chelsea, who bring in Oscar and Andre Schurrle for Willian and Ramires. Loic Remy is on the bench. Summer signing Bafetimbi Gomis makes his first league start in place of Wilfried Bony in the Swansea attack.
Chelsea XI: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard; Diego Costa.
Swansea XI: Fabianski, Rangel, Amat, Williams, Taylor, Ki, Shelvey, Sigurdsson, Dyer, Routledge, Gomis.
Sunderland head coach Gus Poyet hands a debut to deadline day addition Ricky Alvarez while captain John O'Shea makes his 100th appearance for the Black Cats. Mauricio Pochettino is without injured duo Roberto Soldado and Kyle Walker, while Nabil Bentaleb is out after playing for Algeria in midweek. New recruits Federico Fazio and Benjamin Stambouli are on the Tottenham bench.
Sunderland XI: Mannone, Vergini, van Aanholt, Brown, O'Shea, Cattermole, Larsson, Rodwell, Johnson, Alvarez, Wickham.
Tottenham XI: Lloris, Dier, Kaboul, Chiriches, Rose, Dembele, Capoue, Lamela, Eriksen, Chadli, Adebayor.
West Brom and Everton are both searching for their first win and the Baggies make two changes from the 3-0 defeat by Swansea pre-international break. Defender Sebastien Pocognoli and midfielder James Morrison replace Jason Davidson and the injured Youssouf Mulumbu. Centre-back Joleon Lescott is not in the squad to face his former club. Everton were involved in a pulsating 6-3 defeat by Chelsea last time out and they make one change from that game, with centre-back John Stones coming in for Sylvain Distin to partner Phil Jagielka at the back.
West Brom XI: Foster, Wisdom, Olsson, Dawson, Pocognoli, Morrison, Gardner, Brunt, Dorrans, Berahino, Ideye.
Everton XI: Howard, Coleman, Baines, Jagielka, Stones, Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas, Naismith, McGeady, Lukaku.
Southampton's deadline-day signing, Belgium defender Toby Alderweireld, makes his first start for the club while Shane Long, Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic start in attack. Newcastle begin with a 4-2-3-1 formation with summer signing Emmanuel Riviere, yet to score in the league, leading the attack. Jack Colback has recovered from the injury he suffered while training with England to take his place in midfield. Dutch midfielder Vurnon Anita takes the place of his injured countryman Siem de Jong.

Newcastle XI: Krul, Janmaat, Coloccini, Williamson, Haidara, Colback, Anita, Cabella, Sissoko, Gouffran, Riviere.
Stoke boss Mark Hughes makes one change from the win at Manchester City, bringing in Bojan Krkic for his second league start since the 23-year-old joined from Barcelona. He replaces Etihad matchwinner Mame Biram Diouf, who has spent the last fortnight on international duty with Senegal and only arrived back in England on Friday. Diouf is on the bench. Peter Odemwingie remains sidelined with a long-term knee injury. Leicester boss Nigel Pearson hands a debut to keeper Ben Hamer after Kasper Schmeichel is ruled out with a knee injury sustained on international duty with Denmark. It's a big day for Hamer, who joined from Charlton in the summer and has never before played in the top flight. There is no place for new boys Nick Powell, Tom Lawrence and Danny Simpson and Argentina international Esteban Cambiasso is again on the bench. Matty James and Matthew Upson miss out through injury.

Leicester XI: Hamer, de Laet, Morgan, Moore, Konchesky, Mahrez, Hammond, King, Schlupp, Ulloa, Nugent.
Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock hands a debut to new signing James McArthur following the midfielder's transfer window arrival from Wigan Athletic. Wilfried Zaha and Fraizer Campbell also start as part of three changes from the team that drew at Newcastle in Warnock's first game back in charge. Burnley boss Sean Dyche makes a first change to his starting line-up in the Premier League this season with new signing and joint club record buy George Boyd coming in for his debut in place of Matt Taylor. There are no places on the bench for new loan signings Nathaniel Chalobah and Michael Keane following their international duty with England under-21s.
