It is not great, yet not horrendous. They have a pretty good midfield/attack still, or so it would look on paper.

Yeah, I seem to remember those three having not-terrible seasons and being generally good players.

Fraser Forster is still a good keeper. It'd be like saying that David Marshall is absolutely terrible, solely because Cardiff got relegated. A big part is about the defenders you have in front of you, and I'd say Southampton have a much stronger defensive line than Celtic.
