Football Writer's Association has written to Liverpool and Everton asking to overturn their respective bans on The Sun.

Quote

“While the FWA understands the upset caused by the presence and views of columnist Kelvin MacKenzie, the organisation feels that its members, the football journalists, are being unfairly punished for actions which have nothing to do with them."

This bit in particular is incredibly tone deaf. Imagine missing the point by such a fucking wide margin. Christ.

Whichever 'writer' wrote that should probably consider another career, preferably one that doesn't include having to do research before forming an opinion.

I can't believe they actually said that.

"The organisation feels that its members, the football journalists, are being unfairly punished for actions which have nothing to do with them."

Just like the fans and the city were unfairly labelled and punished for actions that had nothing to do with them  for 20+ years....get fucked

Rashford is a diving prick.

If that was a foreign player he'd be castigated by the media. But it'll be completely glossed over, just like when Stevie used to do his sprawling belly flops.
