It's the Marvel movie I'm most excited for, I think. Glad that Worst Chris is in this, I loved Thor and Star-Lord's dynamic in Infinity War/Endgame and I want more of Thor as a Guardian of the Galaxy.

Vin Diesel is in Sydney, Australia so maybe it's the whole Guardians gang. Or maybe he's there to record a Grammy winning album, who knows.

Surely they wouldn't need Diesel to be there for a voiceover role though?

 

After writing that and it feeling very weird to use Diesel as a surname, I had to look up his real name. It's Mark Sinclair.

I mean, really, there's a number of reasons why he might be there - including just visiting Australia on his own or doing something else entirely unrelated to Marvel. But it's also possible Taika cast him as another character, or he wants him to do the mo-cap this time around. Maybe it's a table read (and I'd leave America too for a few weeks or whatever if I had the chance). Dude does his VO work in fuckin' stilts, I wouldn't be surprised if he flew across the world just for a table read tbh.

I think the real reason he's there is to hand deliver the theme song to Taika. He failed as an EDM type artist, now he's going into 80s hair metal.

Christian Bale is Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love & Thunder.
