We look somehow both sturdier and capable of getting easily bypassed in defence.

If we are gonna score it's going to be down our right hand side. Keep getting behind Sessegnon quite easily

Sessegnon is playing attacking mid. The wingback is Le Marchand I think. Or Chambers.

Sessegnon missed a golden chance not long ago. They've done alright but Fulham need the first goal to have any chance of coming away with anything I think.

I think it was more difficult than it looked due to the angle he was approaching the goal. Would have been nice to see him put it away though.

Definitely wasn't easy but I can't see Fulham getting in behind much today. If Mitrovic gets a half chance he'll need to bury it.

Mitro was onside. Shame to be robbed of a goal and then have it cost us immediately.

Jesus.....

Not convinced Mitrovic is offside.

What's amusing is if there had been VAR, 1-0 Liverpool might have been changed to 1-0 Fulham. A close one there.

Thought he was just onside myself. Quick thinking there though to start a counter.

I think he was just off, but yeah that's close

I think the guy at the bottom of the pitch was slow stepping out. Put him at least level.

Should the referee not have stopped the game momentarily anyway? Plus, the ball was moving when Allison took the free-kick.

This is exactly why VAR should be implemented already.

The linesman had 4 players blocking his line of vision to Mitrovic too. He had no idea.

NBCSN showed an angle during halftime that has Mitrovic just offside, but I think no matter what it's really really close. It's awful luck for you guys, that's for sure.

We've been very vulnerable at the back, poor concentration. Sessengon should've put you guys up 1-0. The 4-2-3-1 formation is not very good for us, at least the way we're set up. Firmino is totally wasted in the 10 role. I'd just rather Shairi play behind Firmino and let Salah keep cutting in from the right. I still think he's better cutting in from the right than the central position. Mane is also in really bad form. He's been pretty terrible, one nice aside.

Cracking finish from Shaqiri.

Fulham asleep at the back again.

I'm beginning to see Charlie Austin's point about the officiating in the Prem.

I'm worried about that midfield 3. Matic and Fellaini in the same team from the start is less than ideal.

Fixtures for the new Premier League season will be released at 9am tomorrow morning, so let's make some predictions for the new season which will probably look stupid in six months or so:
Spurs will only scrape top-4 due to the Wembley effect. Pep's Man City will struggle again due to Ederson failing to settle. Arsenal to finish 6th. Huddersfield and Brighton will survive. Newcastle will be relegated with a different manager in place by Christmas. Watford will be relegated. Bournemouth will finish above Southampton. Bilic or Puel will be the first manager to be sacked. Talking of Newcastle...

Fixtures for the new Premier League season will be released tomorrow morning, so let's make some bold predictions for the new season ahead:
Leicester will only manage a top-ten finish. Chelsea will only make the Europe League spots at best. Top 4 of Man City, Man Utd, Spurs and Arsenal. In what order I have no idea. Liverpool will just miss out towards the very end of the season. Watford to continue to struggle under a new manager, particularly if one of Deeney or Ighalo leave, and get relegated. Bournemouth build on last season and do well again. Hull to straight back down to the Championship with Middlesborough. Burnley to just scrape survival, at the expense of... let's say Crystal Palace. Koeman's Everton to finish below his old club Southampton despite spending a metric fuckton of money. Pulis (WBA) or Guidolin (Swansea) to be sacked first.

So yeah, it was kind of getting lost in the talks of actual football, but if you'd like to join the EWB Fantasy Premier League, the code is below. Use this thread for fantasy team discussions and such.

I remember a while ago we used to predict who would finish where in the table so I thought I'd put EWB to the test and see who was the best at predicting what would happen in the Prem this season. Who will be our version of Paul the Octopus and who will be as good as predicting things as Mark Lawrenson. There will be 5 questions with a total of 100 points up for grab and come the end of the season I will add all the points up to crown our first winner.
Question 1) Top goal scorer (5 points for correctly guessing the top scorer, A extra 10 points is awarded for guessing top scorer and amount of goals)
Question 2) Most assists (5 points for correctly guessing the top assist maker, A extra 10 points is awarded for guessing top and amount of assists)
Question 3) First team to sack their manager (10 points)
Question 4) Predict the table (2 points for each correct position,
Question 5) Predict the three teams which get promoted to the Prem (5 points for each team guessed correctly, If you get all three correct; a extra 5 points is awarded)

      Here are my answers:

      1) Diego Costa - 22 goals
      2) Coutinho- 14 Assists
      3) Watford will sack their manager first
      4) Chelsea, Man.Utd, Man.City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Swansea, Southampton, Everton, Stoke, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, West Brom, Aston Villa, Leicester, Sunderland, Bournemouth, Norwich, Watford
      5) QPR, Middlesbrough, Hull City

The Premier League has announced a decision not have a title sponsor from season 2016/2017. The move reflects the organisation's desire to mirror major American sports leagues like the NBA and NFL in presenting a 'clean' brand. Having been sponsored by Barclays since 2004, in 2016 the competition will be known simply as 'The Premier League'. Predictions which will probably almost all turn out incorrect! Chelsea will win the league Man Utd second, Arsenal and City to squabble over third and fourth Rodgers to be sacked before the season ends Spurs to be better but ultimately fall short of the top four once again Bournemouth will perform well and survive. Watford will finish bottom of the pile with at least one managerial change mid-season. Norwich will scrape survival at the expense of an established top flight team. Sunderland fans buy flowers for Dick Advocaat's wife after he stays at club
